For many years, I have prayed and felt inadequate because of my lack of spiritual encounters during prayer. In hearing the testimony of other believers, I became convinced that something was lacking in experience with the Holy Spirit.
I grew extremely anxious, tired, and despondent as prayer felt more like striving to dig past a brick wall with my bare fingers. My relationship with the Holy Spirit suffered due to personal discouragement as God seemed very far from me no matter how much prayer I initiated. After seeing Augustine’s video title on YouTube discussing why a person may not feel anything while praying, I decided to reach out to him for a consultation.
Augustine spoke so much calm and wisdom into my spirit. His words help me to drop the chains of self effort, and begin to rest in the finished work of the cross of Yeshua the Christ again. I felt an encouragement inside of me that I have not felt in years through our conversation.
Augustine’s wisdom helped me become more confident in my prayer life, and become more focused on viewing God as my loving Father who is always there to help me. I have began to approach my walk with the Holy Spirit with excitement, calm, and peace which has helped restore my heart from many years of frustration.
