My Interesting Praying in Tongues Experience

Recently, I was going about my day as usual but towards the evening, I encountered an experience that really baffled me. Throughout the day, everything seemed normal. However, as evening approached, I began to feel fatigue, which is quite normal towards the end of the day.

Suddenly, I was overwhelmed by a wave of discouragement. I went from being in a peaceful state to remembering every regretful action from my past and unfortunate circumstances that surrounded me at the time.

This was somewhat unusual, as I did not anticipate experiencing such profound discouragement, despite my commitment to prayer.

That evening, something extraordinary occurred. Interestingly, as this wave of discouragement washed over me, I felt an intense prompting from the Holy Spirit to pray in tongues.

I had initially intended to take a shower and then retire for the night but the urge by the Holy Spirit to pray was overwhelming. I found myself unable to focus on anything else. As I walked from my door towards my bed, the intensity of this divine prompting was so strong that I began to pray while walking.

I began to experience a powerful surge of tongues that lasted for nearly ten minutes. Eventually, the prayers subsided, and a sense of peace returned.

The devil’s discouragement tactic

Recently, the Holy Spirit revealed to me that the devil employs various strategies against believers, with discouragement being one of his favorite weapons.

The devil’s tactic of discouragement is effective because it subtly casts doubt in our minds, making it hard for us to recognize his influence. By highlighting negative aspects of our lives or past failures, the devil aims to weaken our faith in God and cause us to lose hope in what we are trusting God for.

The Holy Spirit taught me that the devil strategically launches waves of discouragement when a person is vulnerable, often right after they have prayed and are trusting in God for something.

It’s important to take note of these moments and not give in to the devil’s whispers of doubt and discouragement.

The devil starts whispering to you that your prayers are ineffective and tries to convince you that you are foolish for spending time in prayer. These attacks often come after prayer, when people are tired.

When you are physically tired, your mind is also tired, and the devil takes advantage of this by making you forget the laws of God. Because faith comes from the knowledge of God, when your mind is tired, your faith weakens.

However, the Holy Spirit prompts you to pray when the devil launches these attacks. I am extremely grateful to the Holy Spirit for prompting me to pray in tongues and helping me overcome the attacks of discouragement.

I remember a certain time when I ignored the prompt of the Holy Spirit to pray, and it resulted in a wave of discouragement that led me to a very dark place. However, this time, the Holy Spirit prompted me so strongly that I prayed in tongues and I was able to overcome this feeling of discouragement.

Whenever you feel prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray in tongues, especially when you are tired or right after a prayer session, it is a sign that the Holy Spirit is helping you combat the discouragement from the devil.

The devil may have been launching discouraging thoughts, and the Holy Spirit wants you to pray them away. Simply follow the prompt, pray for a few minutes, and you will feel at peace again. Blessings!
