The Big Advantage of Praying in Tongues at Night

Here is the thing: many believers who pray in tongues struggle to achieve a breakthrough in the spirit. They speak tongues that feel empty with no spiritual feedback whatsoever.

There is a significant advantage of praying in tongues at night. From a spiritual standpoint, you should consider praying in tongues at night as often as you can.

All their attempts to understand the problem are futile. It feels as if they are permanently banned from accessing the spiritual realm.

When they hear others testify of their spiritual experiences, it leaves them wondering what they are missing.

If that is you, this article is for you. Today, I’m going to share with you a big advantage of praying in tongues at night that will help you soak deeper in tongues.

I discovered this advantage one time when I was praying in tongues, and it really boosted my spiritual experience. It is such a great advantage that you should never overlook.

Here we go…

Context

I’ll start by highlighting a number of scriptures to help you understand the advantage of praying in tongues at night.

The first scripture I want you to pay attention to is from Exodus 12:29. The Bible says…

And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock.

The second important scripture in this context is 2nd Kings 19:35. This is what the Bible says…

And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead.

The last scripture of great importance in this context is 1st Thessalonians 5:2. It says…

For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

These three scriptures highlight a very important spiritual principle. That principle is the main reason why you should consider praying in tongues at night.

The Revelation

Exodus 12:29 highlights that God struck all the firstborn of Egypt at midnight. But you may ask yourself, why specifically at midnight?

That question is compounded when you read 2nd Kings 19:35. In that verse, a very similar situation happens. An angel is sent to kill the Assyrians at night.

In both cases, God sent an angel to kill. The angel went out at night. The mission of the angel marked a major deliverance for Israel.

Whenever the Bible narrates two separate incidents with a very similar structure, you know there is a principle behind them.

In this case, we understand that God administers judgement on the enemy at night. That also means  God brings deliverance for His people in the morning.

When the enemy is destroyed at night, the children of God wake up to great victory and deliverance.

But why is that the case? Why does God administer judgement at night?

Well, that is because God sets specific days for judgement. On the day God has set judgment, He is very prompt with it. That means, immediately the clock hits midnight, judgement begins.

God’s judgement does not delay even for a second. Since days start at midnight, execution of God’s judgement also starts at midnight.

And because God’s judgement on the enemy also means God’s deliverance for His people, you understand why God is very swift with it.

To prove this principle even more, the Bible mentions in 1st Thessalonians 5:2 that the day Christ returns will come like a thief in the night.

The metaphor used is very precise. The return of Christ will be judgement for all wickedness in the world. At the same time, it will be great deliverance for the children of God.

But how do all these relate to praying in tongues at night?

Well, let me explain…

Praying in Tongues at Night

It is God’s principle to pass judgement and administer justice at night. The Bible highlighted major incidents of judgement but there are many minor cases that God settles every day.

For this reason, if you set yourself to pray in tongues at night, you become an active participant in God’s judgement and deliverance business.

For God to execute the judgement and deliverance He intends, He needs intercessors to be in their positions.

Your willful choice to pray in tongues at night gives you a prime opportunity to experience God’s mighty power.

If you pray in tongues with little to no feedback from the spiritual realm, try praying in tongues at night and see the difference.

God bless you!
