When you understand the power of sacrifices in the spiritual realm, you will never approach prayer the same way again.
Here is a truth: some believers pray, but their prayers don’t yield anything. They feel completely powerless. No matter what they do, their prayers feel like empty words.
Today, I’m offering you knowledge that will add tremendous power to your prayers.
Since I gained this knowledge, the prayers I’ve made have been powerful with undeniable results. There is no reason why it should not increase the power of your prayers as well.
The Mistake of Many Believers
Many believers can pray, but few understand how to use spiritual sacrifices to increase the power of their prayers. This is where the problem lies.
Because of their inability to use the power of sacrifices, they make fragile prayers that don’t yield anything.
The unfortunate thing is that many believers interpret this lack of results to mean God is working behind the scenes.
This mistake permanently holds back the progress of many believers.
Ready to learn how to use spiritual sacrifices for maximum results? Let’s get started.
Solution Context
Pay attention to the following three scriptures.
First scripture; Revelation 5:8. The Bible says…
Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Second scripture; Genesis 8:20-21. The Bible says…
Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.
The last scripture I want you to pay attention to is Ephesians 5:2. This is what the Bible says…
And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
These three scriptures align perfectly to explain the power of sacrifices in the spiritual realm, as you will see shortly.
The Revelation
The first verse from the book of Revelation highlights a very key point about prayer. In that verse, we are told the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down to worship God while holding a harp and golden bowls of incense, which we are told are the prayers of the saints.
In the spiritual realm, the prayers that we offer are collected by angels in golden bowls and offered to God as incense.
Each prayer has a distinct smell before God. The smell of your prayer determines the response you get from God.
This brings me to the second scripture we read in the book of Genesis 8. In that verse, Noah offered a sacrifice to God. The Bible tells us that the sacrifice had a soothing aroma before God, and it moved God to make a vow in His heart never to destroy every living thing again.
This confirms what I just told you; every request appears to God as incense with a distinct aroma, and God responds based on the smell of the request.
The last scripture we read in Ephesians 5:2 takes this further. It tells us that Christ loved us and offered Himself as a sweet-smelling sacrifice to God.
What do all these have to do with the power of sacrifices in the spiritual realm?
Well, that’s what I’m going to explain next…
Practical Implementation
Sacrifices are powerful in the spiritual realm because they determine the smell of your prayers. All the prayers we make take the smell of the sacrifices behind them.
There are three distinct ingredients that form a sweet-smelling scent before God. The ingredients are humility, obedience, and purity.
This means that the sweetest smelling sacrifice to God is a sacrifice offered in humility, obedience, and purity.
This also explains why the sacrifice that Jesus offered to God is the most perfect. Jesus was perfectly obedient to God in His act of dying on the cross. In addition, Jesus humbled himself to live as a man when He was equal with God. Lastly, Jesus was perfectly pure without any sin.
For that reason, when you align yourself with Christ in the spiritual realm, the smell that comes from you is the sweetest to God. For that reason, any request you make to God is granted.
But you may ask, how do you align with Christ in the spiritual realm?
Well, you do that by walking in the example of purity, humility, and obedience that Christ set for us. This lifestyle will cause you pain, but it will make you a sweet-smelling sacrifice in the spiritual realm that makes God grant all your requests.
God bless you!
