An Overlooked Perspective that will help you Pray in Tongues with Unshakable Boldness

The praying in tongues perspective I’m about to share with you will make you speak in tongues with unshakable boldness. If you’ve been struggling to speak in tongues boldly, this is for you.

I have observed that a good number of praying in tongues believers get worried if their tongues are real. That is because their tongues sounded strange in comparison to the tongues of other believers.

In this artice, I’m offering you a new way of looking at your tongues that will make you pray in tongues with confidence and vigor. It won’t matter how strange your tongues sound.

This perspective is the same I have taught to everyone who came to me worried, that their tongues were sounding very strange. After I taught them this new approach, they instantly got motivated and prayed in tongues boldly.

The Mistake of Many Praying in Tongues Believers…

It is only fair that I start by outlining the error that many praying in tongues believers make. When you understand the wrong perspective, you will be in a good position to swap it, with the new perspective.

Many praying in tongues believers assume that true tongues must sound familiar. This assumption comes from the fact that most of the tongues that believers speak sound similar.

Because of this assumption, whenever a believer prays in tongues that sound unfamiliar, they instantly doubt themselves. They start questioning if it is the Holy Spirit within them or some other spirit.

This doubt drains their confidence, and they cut down on speaking in tongues. But that is a big mistake on their part. For that reason, I’m sharing with you a new perspective that will help you avoid that mistake if you are affected by it.

Solution Context…

Let’s kick off with three important scriptures that will help you understand the new perspective.

One, 1st Corinthians 12:10. The Bible says…

to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

This looks like a scripture with scanty information, but it is loaded. I’ll show you in just a moment.

Before then, let’s read the second scripture, which is not so far from the first one.

The second scripture is from 1st Corinthians 13:1. It says…

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

This is a fairly common scripture to many praying in tongues believers. It is no surprise that we are using it in this context.

The final scripture I want you to pay attention to is from Luke 22:44. The Bible says…

And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

This final scripture may not make immediate sense in this context, but I’m going to explain everything to you.

Let’s now get into the revelation.

The Revelation…

In 1st Corinthians 12:10, Apostle Paul describes the gift of speaking in tongues with the word ‘diverse’. This automatically means you should expect diversity in the gift of speaking in tongues.

Then, in 1st Corinthians 13:1, Apostle Paul hints at part of the diversity mentioned in the previous chapter. The Bible mentions tongues of men and angels. This confirms the diversity in the gift of tongues.

Lastly, in Luke 22:44, the Bible describes Jesus praying, but with a little twist. We are told Jesus prayed more earnestly because He was in agony. This means that the manner of praying can change when there is more emotional weight.

When you combine these three scriptures, you realize that speaking in tongues is diverse in nature because the tongues that can be spoken are diverse.

This partly explains why it is okay for a believer to speak very strange tongues. In addition, we understand that our feelings in the moment we are praying in tongues also affect the sound of the tongues we speak.

This means that it is okay to speak varying tongues from time to time based on your feelings in the moment.

Conclusion

Therefore, instead of assuming that tongues should always sound familiar, understand that it is okay for tongues to sound different. It is not a different spirit in you, no. Rather, it is you in different circumstances, and the Holy Spirit adjusts to it.

If you have been scared to pray in tongues before because your tongues sounded strange, this is confirmation to you that you are just experiencing the normal diversity of tongues. Therefore, speak in tongues boldly, and embrace the diversity of the Holy Spirit.

God bless you!
