When you pray in tongues during your meditation time, you tap into great spiritual benefits. When you learn of the gains, you will never want to meditate without speaking in tongues ever again.
For some believers, meditation time is boring and unfruitful. In their minds, reading the word of God and waiting to hear from the Lord feels like a mountain too steep to climb.
The information I’m sharing with you will change that mindset once and for all. Even if you’ve never enjoyed your meditation sessions, this information will turn that around.
Don’t believe me?
Well, I’ve been praying in tongues during my meditation time for a good number of years. The benefits I’ve experienced speak for themselves.
Let’s get right into it!
1. You get revelations in the spirit
Let me begin by sharing with you a common scripture in the book of Joshua 1:8. The Bible says…
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
This is arguably the most common scripture for meditation. We are commanded to continually speak the law of God in our lives. Obviously, you cannot speak the word of God if you do not read. That is where trouble begins.
You see, many believers struggle with meditating on God’s word because they do not understand it. I mean, how many believers can read the book of Leviticus with a smile? Yet it is God’s law, and we are told it is sweet.
How many believers can read the book of Revelation and understand? Beasts left, right, and center. How many believers can comprehend that?
Well, that is where the Holy Spirit steps in. When you pray in tongues during your meditation time, you no longer read God’s word because it is English, no. You connect with it spiritually.
It is only the Holy Spirit who can make you connect with God’s word spiritually. And you release yourself to the Holy Spirit by praying in the Spirit.
When you do that, the Holy Spirit brings to your mind scriptures that are appropriate for you at that time. Whatever you choose to read in God’s word comes with great spiritual understanding. Scriptures stop being mere English statements. They become words of life that propel you to deep spiritual understanding.
With that level of understanding, you receive spiritual power from God’s law that propels you to be prosperous and have good success.
Therefore, if meditation time has been snooze time for you, add praying in tongues and see the difference.
2. You get supernatural power to act
In Acts 1:8, the Bible says…
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
This is not a mere statement. It is a spiritual principle that some believers miss.
You see, the power to do God’s will is given to us by the Holy Spirit. You can know the right thing but fail to do it because you lack power.
This is a mistake many believers make during their meditation time. They pay attention to knowing God’s word, but they forget to ask for the power to walk according to God’s word.
That is why you see believers quoting scriptures, but their lives tell a different story. It is a sad state of affairs.
But all that changes when you introduce speaking in tongues to your meditation sessions. Whatever portion of God’s word you meditate on, when you pray in tongues, the Holy Spirit gives you power to bring God’s word in your life a reality.
How many times have believers read the verse where Jesus says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”?
How many of those believers have had the courage to step out to execute that command?
You’ll meet many believers who say they are waiting for God’s direction when what they lack is just the power to act on the direction already revealed.
When you pray in tongues fervently during your meditation sessions, the Holy Spirit will empower you to be a doer of God’s word.
3. You remember supernaturally
Jesus gave us a very important promise in John 14:26. This is what the Bible says…
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
For a long time, human beings have found themselves in trouble with God, not because they didn’t know God’s command, but because they didn’t remember.
When the children of Israel left Egypt, God did great signs and wonders. The Lord expected the children of Israel to remember the signs and wonders and have faith in Him.
Sadly, the children of Israel were quick to forget the mighty works the Lord had done for them. No amount of commanding them to remember what God had done for them worked.
That problem was not unique to the children of Israel. It is a universal problem affecting all believers.
Many times, we forget important words that the Lord gave to us. As a result, our faith in God dwindles.
But when you incorporate praying in the spirit in your meditation routine, the Holy Spirit will supernaturally remind you of the great things the Lord has done for you.
With that memory in mind, it becomes easy for you to trust God for greater things.
Conclusion
The benefits of praying in tongues during your meditation time will transform your relationship with God more than you imagine. Turn the word of God into a living reality by speaking words of the Spirit. Move away from basic carnal reading of God’s word.
God bless you!
