The Hidden Principle Behind Fruitful Praying In Tongues

You’ve been praying consistently, yet nothing seems to be changing. Now you’re wondering, does praying in tongues really make a difference?

What if I told you there is a remedy that will change everything for you?

I have a profound revelation from the Holy Spirit that will completely transform your approach to praying in tongues.

I have been praying in tongues for nine years, and in the process, I have learned some key lessons that worked wonders for me; and this article highlights one of them.

The Mistake of Many Praying in Tongues Believers

Many tongues-speaking believers have the right approach to prayer, but they overlook one fundamental spiritual principle. This spiritual principle is what makes the difference between powerful and powerless tongues.

They claim how powerful praying in tongues is, yet their lives tell a different story. They pray in tongues for hours, but the only result they show for it is dry lips. This is a sad state, but truth be told, it is the reality of many praying in tongues believers.

If you keep ignoring the fundamental spiritual principle I’m about to share with you, nothing will change. It is as simple as that, sadly! But I don’t want that for you; that’s why I’m sharing this revelation in the first place.

Now that I’ve told you the mistake, let me give you the solution.

Solution Context

Let me begin by providing some much-needed context. It’s a bunch of scriptures, but don’t worry, I’ll explain everything at the end.

2 Chronicles 20:21-22

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord , and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the Lord , For His mercy endures forever.” Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

This is quite a common scripture. You’ll see why I included it shortly.

Mark 6:22-23

And when Herodias’ daughter herself came in and danced, and pleased Herod and those who sat with him, the king said to the girl, “Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you.” He also swore to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half my kingdom.”

Quite an interesting scripture. Can you see a link between this scripture and the first one?

Let me give you the last scripture.

John 14:13-14

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

At this point, you should surely see a link between these scriptures. If not, here is your moment…

The Revelation

The three scriptures I’ve shared with you all hint at the spiritual principle responsible for powerful speaking in tongues, which yields results.

In 2 Chronicles 20:21-22, the Bible shows us a man who applied this spiritual principle, and it worked, much to his delight.

In Mark 6:22-23, the Bible highlights a situation where the spiritual principle was exploited to do wickedness, but it still worked. This proves that the principle works whether for good or evil.

Lastly, in John 14:13-14, Jesus, the master Himself, affirms that this principle works.

But what exactly is this spiritual principle?

Well, this principle is a spiritual order put in place by God for all kings. God, being the gentleman He is, abides by the same order.

In simple terms, God ordained that when a King is pleased, He is obligated to give an open-ended offer to the person who pleased him.

So, what does this have to do with praying in tongues?

It turns out, the Holy Spirit perfectly understands this order. As a result, He leads us to invoke this principle whenever we pray in tongues.

How does He do it? You may ask…

The Holy Spirit leads us to praise and worship God before leading us to present our petitions before God. The Holy Spirit understands that once we please God through our worship and praise, He will give us an open-ended offer to ask for anything.

This is why whenever you pray in tongues, your tongues always go from warfare, to praise, to intercession, then end with intimate thanksgiving tongues.

The shift is usually very subtle, but if you follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, you will start seeing tangible results in your life.

God bless you!
