The Mistake of Many Praying in Tongues Believers
Here is the mistake you are making: you are mistaking the role of tongues in getting breakthroughs.
When you mistake the role of tongues, you fail to generate power. With no power, how do you expect to get breakthroughs?
I perfectly understand the mistake. Let me walk you through the solution.

Pay attention to these three important scriptures.
1st Corinthians 13:1
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
2nd Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Job 42:10
And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

The Revelation
The first scripture talks about tongues. The second talks about power. The last one talks about breakthroughs.
The first scripture says tongues are useless without love. The second says God has given us the spirit of power. The last says Job prayed for his friends, and the Lord restored double his wealth.

When God sees you doing good to others through the love you have for them, He will shower you with endless breakthroughs.
