Tongue-Speaking Believers are Incredibly Special to God. Here is why

If you are a tongue-speaking believer, you are more special to God than you think.

Here is the thing: many tongue-speaking believers struggle to believe they are any special before God. The dryness they feel when they pray in tongues makes them doubt if they are special to God.

I’m going to share with you a revelation that will prove to you just how special you are to God as a tongue-speaking believer.

I am a tongue-speaking believer. When the holy Spirit revealed this revelation to me, I felt so grateful for the gift of speaking in tongues.

I hope it will be a source of encouragement to you as well.

The Mistake of Many Praying in Tongues Believers

Before I share the revelation, let me highlight the mistake that many praying in tongues believers make. It is because of this mistake that many of them don’t feel special before God.

Many tongue-speaking believers interpret the dryness of their tongues as God being far from them.

Because of their flawed assumption, they forget the value they carry before God.

In the end, despite being special in the eyes of God, tongue-speaking believers live assuming they are not precious to God.

How can we switch from this flawed mentality? Learn and live in boldness!

Solution Context

The Holy Spirit gave me this revelation using scriptures. In the same manner, I’ll use scriptures to explain the revelation to you.

The first scripture I want you to pay attention to is from Hebrews 11:6. It says…

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The second important scripture in this context is John 14:17. It says…

the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

I hope we are together up to that point. Let me share one last verse, and then I’ll expound on all of them.

The last scripture is from 1st Thessalonians 5:19. It says…

Do not quench the Spirit.

These three scriptures combine beautifully to illustrate how much God values tongue-speaking believers.

Wondering how? Here is your moment…

The Revelation

In Hebrews 11:6, the Bible tells us that it is impossible to please God without faith. This means that the more faith you have, the more pleasing you will be to God.

Hold that thought…

In John 14:17, Jesus told us that the world cannot receive the Holy Spirit because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. In simple terms, Jesus was saying the world doesn’t have faith to receive the Holy Spirit.

This brings me to the third scripture. In 1st Thessalonians 5:19, the Bible asks us not to quench the Holy Spirit. This means that we should give the Holy Spirit room to express Himself in us.

But you may ask, what does this have to do with tongue-speaking believers being special to God?

Well, here is the explanation: God is pleased by faith. By the time you get to the point of receiving the Holy Spirit, you will have gathered enough faith to please God to let you receive the Holy Spirit.

But you may say, don’t other believers who don’t pray in tongues also have the Holy Spirit?

Yes, other believers who don’t pray in tongues have the Holy Spirit. But, tongue-speaking believers have something more special.

What is it?

For normal believers who don’t pray in tongues, they have the Holy Spirit, but they lack sufficient faith to allow the Holy Spirit to express Himself through them.

However, tongue-speaking believers not only have faith to receive the Holy Spirit, but they also have faith to allow the Holy Spirit use their tongues to utter spiritual mysteries.

This extra level of faith makes them a lot more pleasing to God than average believers.

How beneficial is this knowledge to a tongue-speaking believer?

Practical Implementation

As a tongue-speaking believer, this knowledge should help you in three main ways:

One, you should approach God more confidently, knowing that you have already pleased Him with your high level of faith.

Two, you should be bold in exercising the gift of tongues.

Lastly, you should help other believers grow their faith to receive the gift of tongues, so that they can become a lot more special to God.

God bless you!
