The Holy Spirit gave me a powerful revelation that helps me enjoy every praying in tongues session to this day. That is the revelation I am sharing with you today.
This is what I have observed, a good number of praying in tongues believers don’t enjoy praying in tongues; they force themselves to pray in tongues. Their tongues feel dry and boring, and they don’t know what to do to fix the problem.
Well, today, I’m going to share a powerful revelation I received from the Holy Spirit that will fix that problem once and for all.
The revelation was the turning point in my own struggle to enjoy praying in tongues, and there is no reason why it should not work for you. After all, are we not filled with the same Holy Spirit?

The Mistake of Many Praying in Tongues Believers…
Let me start by mentioning the mistake that many praying in tongues believers make. Because of this mistake, many of them don’t enjoy praying in tongues. It is only after you acknowledge the mistake that you can think of solving it.
Many praying in tongues believers see praying in tongues as a tool to fix the mess in their lives. While that is not far from the truth, it is not the truth. At best, it is only half true.
This flawed perception of praying in tongues is the origin of the dry and boring tongues that many praying in tongues believers experience.
If you don’t use the right approach, praying in tongues will continue to be dry and boring. But that is not what I want for you. That is why I am sharing with you this revelation in the first place.

Solution Context…
Let me start by laying a good foundation for you to understand the revelation I’m about to share with you. There’s no better foundation than scripture.
The Holy Spirit used scriptures to reveal the revelation to me. In the same manner, I’ll use scriptures to share the revelation with you.
Ready? Take note of the following three scriptures.
One, John 14:16-17. The Bible says…
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
This is the famous promise that Jesus gave about the coming of the Holy Spirit. I’ll explain to you how it applies in this context shortly. Before then, let me give you the other scriptures.
Acts 1:8. The Bible says…
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
This is yet another promise Jesus gave about the coming of the Holy Spirit. It ties beautifully with the first scripture. But before I explain it to you, let me give you the last scripture.
The last scripture is from Galatians 5:22-23. It says…
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
These are the three scriptures I want you to pay attention to as we get into the revelation I got from the Holy Spirit.
The Revelation…
The Holy Spirit revealed to me that praying in tongues is His way of helping us formulate prayers that are pleasing before God. This is common knowledge.
He then brought to my attention the words of Jesus in John 14:16-17. In that portion of scripture, Jesus promised the disciples that He would ask the Father to give us another helper who would abide with us forever.
From that scripture the Holy Spirit helped me understand that He came as a helper specifically to help us in the spiritual realm. Since our reconciliation with God was spiritual, we need spiritual understanding to walk with God.
I hope everything is clear up to that point.
Now, the Holy Spirit further revealed to me that He accords us help by giving us power. This aligns with the promise of Jesus in Acts 1:8.
This power we receive from the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to do many things including speaking in tongues. In Acts 1:8, Jesus highlighted that the power of the Holy Spirit would make us His witnesses in the world.
Take note that power is mentioned first before speaking in tongues is mentioned.
Finally, the Holy Spirit gave me Galatians 5:22-23, which lists the fruit of the spirit. With this verse, He helped me understand that the spiritual power He gives us is meant to yield in us the fruit listed in Galatians 5:22-23.
So, what does all these have to do with enjoying praying in tongues?
Well, the joy of praying in tongues is determined by the amount of power you receive from the Holy Spirit. The power that the Holy Spirit gives you is the tool that gets things done. Praying in Tongues is only the instruction of what things you want done.
For many believers who pray in tongues and feel their tongues being dry and empty, it is because they don’t have much power from the Holy Spirit.
Their insufficient power cannot yield anything meaningful for them, which leaves them feeling bored.
To get more power from the Holy Spirit, focus on purity and gaining spiritual knowledge through reading the Bible. These two will put you in a position where the Holy Spirit can entrust you with more spiritual power. And with more spiritual power, tongues become sweeter.
God bless you!
