If you have ever desired to experience God’s presence while praying in tongues, I have a secret that will help you achieve it. No matter how much you’ve struggled, the information I’m sharing here will get you over the line.
Many praying-in-tongues believers rarely experience the presence of the Lord when they pray. Their main undoing is the lack of knowledge of attracting God’s presence. With the right information, anyone can pray in tongues and attract the presence of the Lord.
Because I have prayed in tongues many times and experienced the presence of the Lord, I’m sharing with you one of the biggest secrets I learned. I call it a secret, but in reality, it should be common knowledge.
In the course of praying in tongues and seeking to experience the presence of the Lord, I discovered this secret. After discovering it, I had so many experiences with the Lord. To this day, it is the same information I use to experience the presence of the Lord when praying in tongues.
Let’s get right into it!
The Mistake of Many Praying in Tongues Believers
Before we get into the secret of experiencing God’s presence when praying in tongues, let’s begin by understanding what stops many believers from experiencing God’s holy presence. It is only after you understand the mistake that you will appreciate the solution.
Here is how praying in tongues works for a typical believer…
A believer hears a testimony of someone who prayed in tongues and experienced the presence of the Lord. The person giving the testimony mentions how easy it was for them to have the experience.
The person concludes their testimony by mentioning that anyone can experience the presence of the Lord when praying in tongues.
At that point, the believer who was listening to the testimony is confident that they can experience the Lord’s presence as well. Their faith in attracting God’s holy presence is very high at that point.
The believer then goes to pray in tongues, expecting to experience the presence of the Lord, but just like other times, nothing happens. His tongues are dry and boring as usual.
The experience leaves the believer disappointed and stuck. What makes matters worse is that the believer cannot understand what he is missing. To him, it feels as if other tonguespeaking believers know some secret that he doesn’t.
Well, if you are that believer, I’m here to give you the information you have been missing all along.
Context
Let me start by highlighting three important scriptures that will help you understand the point I’ll share with you.
The first scripture I want you to pay attention to is Matthew 18:20. This is what it says…
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.
The second important scripture in this context is Acts 2:1-2. It says…
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
The last verse I want you to pay attention to in this context is Genesis 18:26. This is what it says…
So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sake.”
These three scriptures come together to highlight one of the most powerful yet hidden spiritual principles you’ll ever learn concerning experiencing the presence of the Lord when praying in tongues.
The Hidden Secret
In Matthew 18:20, we are told that where two or three are gathered in the name of Jesus, He is in their midst. This is a straightforward case; if you want God’s presence easily, gather two, three, or more in the name of the Lord.
But the mystery is deeper than that.
In Acts 2:1-2, we see a fulfillment of what Matthew 18:20 promised. The disciples of Jesus were gathered in the upper room in one accord, and sure enough, they experienced the presence of the Lord.
This proves that gathering in the name of the Lord is a huge factor in attracting the presence of God. But it leaves us with a question: why is gathering in the name of the Lord so powerful in attracting God’s presence?
That’s where Genesis 18:26 comes in.
You see, God loves attention. Yes, God loves attention just as we do. After all, are we not made in the image and likeness of God?
When people gather, there’s more attention to be earned there than if someone is alone. This is one of the main reasons why God easily shows up when people gather.
But more importantly, God is holy. He only ever shows up if there is enough holiness and righteousness in a place.
Unfortunately, we are prone to sin and defilement as human beings. This means that attaining the level of purity and holiness that attracts God’s presence is not easy.
But then, there is a solution to that.
In Genesis 18:26, the Lord spoke to Abraham and assured him that if He found fifty righteous people in the sinful cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, He would spare the entire cities for the sake of the fifty righteous people.
This statement from the mouth of God Himself tells us something very important: the righteousness of a few people can atone for the sin of many.
This is a very basic principle if you consider what Christ did. What makes it crazy is that Christ was righteous in every way, which made it possible for His righteousness to single-handedly save the world.
However, human beings with some form of righteousness atone for great wickedness when they come together.
This means that a gathering of many not-so-perfect believers actually results in enough righteousness to attract God’s presence, which individually they could not attain.
This means that if you want to experience the Lord’s presence easily, pray in tongues with other believers. Their righteousness will cover up for any unrighteousness that would otherwise hinder you from experiencing the presence of the Lord.
From there, you can work on your righteousness to attain the high levels that are required to attract God’s presence.
This is one of the reasons why I host the live praying-in-tongues sessions every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/@menmustpray.
You can join the sessions to take advantage of this principle I’ve shared with you. I’ve experienced it first-hand, and that’s why I love praying in tongues with other like-minded believers.
