Founder
My name is Augustine. I’m the founder of Men Must Pray ministry.
I got the idea to start this ministry back in June 2022 while I was praying in tongues is my small room as a student. At the time, I had been serving as a prayer coordinator for a small prayer fellowship in school but I had been ‘sacked’ for ‘praying too much’.
I was asked to step down from my role as prayer coordinator because I had instituted too many prayer sessions that the leadership feared the students I was leading would not have time to study.
Despite being removed from the prayer coordinator role, the fire for prayer didn’t go down. After several months of being directionless, the Lord revealed to me to start a YouTube ministry about prayer. I quit school and started Men Must Pray.
I got born again in 2012 and received the gift of speaking in tongues in 2016 after four years of desiring. After receiving the gift of tongues, I had a difficult time believing the tongues I was speaking were legitimate.
For 6 months, I battled with doubts but the Lord eventually confirmed to me the gift was legitimate. I’ve never looked back since then.
I fell in love with the gift and desired to explore it to the maximum. In the course of time, I learned a lot about the gift and had many spiritual experiences in the process by the grace of God.
I started this ministry to share the knowledge I got about prayer and the gift of tongues. By the grace of God, I hope to help as many believers as possible to embrace the gift of praying in tongues and enjoy deep intimacy with the Lord through this ministry.
